Digital Imaging Assignment 2

Digital Imaging - expanding my knowledge of PHOTOSHOP and its secrets. The first two images I was playing around with HDR photography and the last one is a Panarama! All taken today in Salmon Arm! Its a great course and after a week away from school I am excited to get back on track!

History of Photography 100 - Surrealism

Krista is a unreal model - so beautiful - with a great look! Was amazing to play around with the lighting and effects it has on a persons look! 

The Sails

To take a iconic image and shoot it as you would see it!! I have a 100 different photos from this shoot that I like and different angles to see it from a different eye. But had to choose one. I love the blue in this photo - the sky - contrast - blue vs white.

I can not even explain how much I am loving Lighting for Stills 100. I feel like I am learning so much information on how to create a better photo in camera and less post production work! Its all about those four factors; angle, intensity, colour, quality!!

Today the beautiful ladies of the class brought in there grad dresses and we had tons of fun with it!

History of Photography Assignment 2

Last week we learnt about futurism and capturing the concept of movement. The ability to use post production or in camera ability to capture movement. Its alot of fun to shoot, and gives you the freedom to play with options! I enjoyed myself in studio!

History of Photography - Assignment 1 - Pictorialism

Who would have thought - I am loving History of Photography 100!!! Victor has a great teaching style, a lecture about the era of photo history we are covering and then a assignment of 5-10 photos representing that type of photography! Its great - gets us out shooting and eventually will allow us to understand where our personal style of photography came from and what influences us as a photographer!

Pictorialism -  very soft, resembling a painting, soft colors! Great portraiture photography - soft, lacking smiles, focusing on the subject. Stagltz was a great photographer who loved to capture the beauty of the human form - nudes!

Fall and camo go hand in hand...

Its so great to work with a family that incorporated a part of who they are into the shoot and willing to make it a more unique experience.
